positioningWERZ
WERZ runs outbound and lifecycle marketing for California businesses. Strategy, list-building, sequencing, creative, deliverability, and reporting — all operated by senior marketers using Clay (and HubSpot / Customer.io / Klaviyo) as part of the stack. The work is the strategy and execution, not the software.

FAQ
WERZ vs clayDo I need WERZ if I already have Clay?
Depends on whether you have someone running it. Clay without an operator doesn't ship campaigns — it just sits there enriching lists. WERZ retainers usually include operating Clay (or your existing tool) — we do the strategy, copy, and execution while the tool stores data.
Does WERZ replace Clay, or work with it?
Work with. We don't sell software. Many of our clients have Clay; we operate it for them. We layer in additional channels (email, paid social, content) that Clay doesn't cover, and the agency-tool combination usually outperforms tool-alone.
What does the math look like?
Clay Pro alone runs $5-10K/year. Add a growth-ops operator ($90-130K all-in). That's $95-140K/year for tool + operator. A WERZ retainer at $8K/mo is $96K/year and includes the full team — strategy, creative, copy, execution. Smaller companies usually get more leverage from the agency. Larger ops with multiple operators benefit from tool ownership.
